Zanna, an empathic intuitive counselor, has been helping people for decades. She has formed and facilitated numerous support groups, including one for caregivers, another for people with chronic disability. Because she is comfortable with all the arts, when appropriate she includes Expressive Arts therapy in her counseling and healing.
Types of counseling/healing Zanna specializes in:
- Loss: For any type of loss, a loved person, pet, home, loss of health, loss of physical mobility, loss of a job
-
Transitions in life: For anyone wanting to make major life changes – relationships, careers, life patterns.
-
Coping with chronic or permanent disability, illness or pain.
-
Math therapy: For 9 th grade through college and adults. The first place loss or stress disturbs our lives is in our learning arithmetic and mathematics. Zanna's therapy includes math tutorials and beyond, healing the places within so the client regains full self-value.

When giving individual counsel, Zanna is intuitively aware of the client's own timing and needs. Frequently she is aware of underlying reasons for behaviors and attitudes, and gently guides her client into his or her own self-discovery in small, manageable increments. Her counseling, whether for group or individual, is based on the client's self-healing, with the belief a healer like herself is only a facilitator of change. Each session leaves the client feeling grounded, hopeful, with specific microtasks to help in the healing process.
Zanna specializes in "healing the healers" and promotes Integrated Medicine, bringing the knowledge of all cultures together to heal the world.
For over twenty-five years Zanna struggled with disability and chronic illness, and now is able to splash in puddles and dance with joy again. Allow her to guide you in your transformational “Dance with the Phoenix,” and teach you how to bring others into the dance. |
